The Doctrine of Compassion
It is important for one to be in touch with their empathic side, and to take the time to truly listen to and understand others. Genuine care and concern for others is a quality that seems all too rare in our modern world. Just as altruism seems counter-intuitive, so does compassion seem to be something given in very select circumstances. This philosophy encourages compassion – genuine compassion – not for any reason, not only when prompted, but to inspire a general spirit of good will amongst all people.
